This stunning entry is the result of our idea of removing part of a closet! YES — we removed part of a closet to make more practical storage for a busy family. You can scroll down to see the old setup, but it involved a pair of wide closets with bi-fold doors that had the effect of narrowing the entryway. By trading some closed door space with an open concept bench+hooks combination, it allows for function and great design — our favorite!

Of course, adding new hardware and replacing the old laminate floors with hard-wearing, large-scale tile also helped to spruce up the space.
