This bathroom is mainly used as a powder room, and also gets occasional use from the homeowner’s overnight guests. She wanted to replace the existing tub with a large, glass-enclosed shower. She also requested that the sink and toilet be swapped during the renovation. We chose large scale tiles for the bathroom floor and the shower walls, with a smaller version on the shower floor. We also selected an accent tile for the shower niche and faucet wall. The old window was replaced and earned the small room a bit of extra natural light — always a bonus!
The other big element in the room is not necessarily evident at first glance — the existing door was removed and a pocket door installed. It makes a huge difference!
