We are so pleased with the final results in simply changing the back splash tile and applying a new paint color in our client’s kitchen. The granite back “lip” was removed, and the new tile makes the space seem larger somehow! We chose a gorgeous white slightly irregular edge tile in a large scale (3×12) with a light grey grout. It replaced a dated square tile with fruit embellishments — see “before” pictures below. In the process, an unused intercom panel was also disconnected, removed, and the hole patched, and it makes a big difference. (Hint — you can see it above the toaster oven in the last picture.)
