Before/After :: Gentle Updates to a New House :: Paint, Lighting, and some FLOR!

Here’s a few before/after pictures from our latest project. The client hired us to pick paint colors and help her update some of the lighting, just after they’d bought the house.

We carried the floor up the few steps to be a transition for the homeowners from the entry into the living areas of the house. This involved keeping some of the teal accents (which tied the foyer into the powder room, but also tied the foyer to the dining room steps above) but also adding a hint of orange, which is the primary accent color in the adjoining family room.

There were no real photos taken of the family room. But we painted Revere Pewter, had all the trim painted, and the client installed new furniture with a few orange accents!

Next up? Art on the walls!

Jen and Anne were so much fun to work with. My living room and office/exercise area really needed a refresh. Their use of Pinterest boards made is super easy to exchange ideas. Jen would also text me photos if she happened to be at a store and saw something I may like/need. They provided fresh and innovative ideas where I had no clue, helped guide me where I already had views, and were great sounding boards where I was unsure (and they often would bounce ideas off of one other, resulting in a great final product).
