Before/After :: How to Stun with Lighting

Our client recently upgraded some lighting in her home to reflect her family’s personal style. They had some ornate gilded fixtures in both the 2-story foyer and the open dining room directly off the foyer. We were all so happy with the results! Thanks to Dulles Electric for helping us land on just the right thing!

The front foyer was a challenge and an opportunity. The client wanted a modern fixture that would take advantage of the height of her gorgeous 2-story space. We picked a custom piece that allowed us to hang each pendant at a different height. The effect is lovely — clean, modern, and slightly unexpected.

The dining room chandelier was chosen to echo the size and space of the room, while relating to the new foyer fixture. We love the romantic quality of this new piece.

And now, the new beautiful pieces installed. The new light fixtures are like little droplets and orbs of white and clear glass. Such a nice modern take and one of our favorite lighting makeovers!

The client also wanted to replace the builder-grade pair of ceiling fixtures in her walk-in closet. She was immediately drawn to these beauties. They make her closet glow like a jewel box.

They provided fresh and innovative ideas where I had no clue, helped guide me where I already had views, and were great sounding boards where I was unsure (and they often would bounce ideas off of one other, resulting in a great final product).
