Sometimes we want things to match – like socks – and other times it’s fun to mix things up a bit. Try using different patterns of the same design. Like these mugs I came across in Jonathan Adler in SoHo. There is also one in Georgetown, on Wisconsin Ave. They go together because they are all the same size and shape – but the different colors and patterns make them a real design statement! Not to mention fun to wake up to in the morning with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
