A common challenge for many of our clients is this :: how do I fill my house with art that is meaningful to me, but doesn’t blow my budget?
The easiest thing to do is to use images you have with inexpensive stock frames. The next is to peruse prints online and group pieces together by using a common theme in frame style. Here, we used images from Minted, and also had them framed out in white. We added some small mirrors to round out the grouping.
Online resources abound! Etsy and art.com are sites we frequently visit when we are looking for a client on a budget. I just gave my son a small budget and he did very well at All Posters by searching for genre and size. Another recommended website to try is Society 6. Again, easy to search through many images.
Locally, we use Art and Frame in Falls Church to frame custom and unique images. They are helpful with advice on frame size and style. Our client created the beautiful works of art pictured below and they were all custom framed at this great local source.
