Classic white subway tile is still on the top of most homeowner’s minds as they consider kitchen back splash selections. It lends a clean, crisp backdrop your kitchen no matter the cabinetry, and it goes beautifully with the new stone and quartz options that many are seeing when they start looking for counter tops. We admit we still like a simple 3×6 or 2×8 subway tile, placed in the traditional running bond pattern, just as you’d see in the subway stations in NYC. You can also use that same tile but arranged it in a stacked pattern, which gives a modern vibe.
To go along with that, we found these marble tiles that pair beautifully with classic white if you are looking to punch up a pattern in a focal point over a range or the sink. Just a subtle play on white and grey that really makes an impact!
