It’s back – baseball season. And with it all the muddy cleats, sweaty hats and gloves, unwieldy bats and smelly baseball bats full of unchewed (and chewed!) Big League Chew. My house is overrun with baseball gear – and because kids keep growing and because one child is a lefty and the other are not – we have two sets of gloves for the boys! I had to clean house. We probably have 15 bats in the house for three kids. So no wonder we were dashing around like crazy trying to find all the right equipment for the games.
Online I found an organization called Project Beisbol. Their website homepage reads “Supporting youth teams in communities of economic need is the heart of our mission, which opens the door to international community collaboration and cultural exchange.” To read more click here. What I love is that they take donations of gently used baseball gear and send it down to Latin America for kids to use while learning to play baseball. Win Win situation!! Call or email to schedule a pick up.
