This is a very easy and cheap way to have yummy chips to crunch. Whole wheat pita bread typically has very few ingredients – which is why I like it – just wheat, salt and water really. Tear these into small pieces, place on baking sheet and sprinkle with olive oil, salt and parmesan cheese. Bake at 325 until the pita is crisp and starting to brown maybe 10-15 minutes. This is great with hummus or salsa, cheese or even alone. Nice alternative to tortilla chips and MUCH cheaper!
