I was making my breakfast the other morning – and I did not have apples for my toast (darn it!) so I opted for the succulent strawberries in my fridge. Much to my surprise it was a success – and I thought it was a really fun Valentine’s Day breakfast! I start with a piece of sprouted multi-grain bread toasted. Then I smear on 2 TBS of almond butter, sprinkle chia seeds over that and top off with fruit.
